Design Partner Program

What the program is, who we're looking for, and how to join.

Applies to Appylar v1.0

The Design Partner Program is how Appylar onboards its first studios. It's a small, hands-on cohort — we work directly with each partner to get them integrated and growing, and their feedback shapes the product. This page explains what it is, who we're looking for, and what to expect.

Ready to apply? Apply to become a Design Partner. We read every application personally.

#What it is

A design partnership is a direct, manual relationship between your studio and the Appylar team during v1. You get early access to cross-promotion, a real person to help you integrate, and influence over what we build next. In return, you use Appylar for real, tell us what works and what doesn't, and help us prove the model.

There's no cost to join and no long-term commitment.

#Who we're looking for

We're intentionally selective while the cohort is small. Good fits tend to:

  • Ship one or more live mobile apps on Android and/or iOS.
  • Have real, ongoing installs — enough that cross-promotion moves the needle.
  • Want to grow a portfolio (promote their own apps to each other) or reach new users through the network.
  • Are willing to integrate the SDK and give candid feedback.

You don't need to be large. A focused studio with two well-matched apps is often a better partner than a big one with no overlap.

#Expectations

Being a design partner is a two-way street:

  • Integrate for real. Add the Android or iOS SDK and run at least one live campaign.
  • Share feedback. Tell us what's confusing, missing or broken — directly, by email.
  • Move fast with us. We ship quickly and will ask for your input on rough edges.

We commit to hands-on support, quick responses, and taking your feedback seriously.

#Benefits

  • Free cross-promotion. Portfolio reach is always free; network reach runs on credits.
  • Hands-on onboarding. We help you integrate and get your first campaign live.
  • A direct line to the team. Reply to any of our emails and you reach a person, not a queue.
  • Influence. Early partners shape the roadmap.

#Feedback process

Onboarding is deliberately manual — there's no ticketing system or CRM. After you're accepted:

  1. You'll get a personal email to kick things off.
  2. We help you register your app, integrate the SDK, and launch your first campaign.
  3. As you use Appylar, you send feedback by email; we fold it into the product.

That's the whole program: a small group of studios, close to the team, growing their apps for free.
